Frustration with USA Players in Top-Tier War Thunder Matches

War Thunder is popular because it doesn’t have a toxic arcadey anti-player ranked matches.

Also don’t push your rationale onto others.

I preferred when games didn’t punish me just for playing

Are stop nerfing and giving the us shit top tier there’s no way in my sep v2 if someone shoots my track I instantly die and the hull gap isn’t that big also where the Abrams is weakest isn’t made of paper the current ring is actually strong

Impossible, but ok

You mean the turret ring? Tiny weakspot tbf

In mobile infantry event, I had pretty easy time getting Abrams turret ring with 0 top tier experience and being pretty ass at ground battles

So wouldn’t call it tiny

Compared to the weakspots of other nations tanks, its tiny

Idk, I recall having more trouble dealing with BVM in the SEP than SEP in the BVM

Huh?
In comparsion with leopard for example, it’s way bigger

Oh yeah, I didnt say it wasnt

Most top tier vehicles are pretty annoying to play, most shots taken is disabling shot if your vehicle doesn’t just blow up, turret ring, autoloader, breech, dead gunner/loader or commander that prevents you from firing your weapon, if anything all of them are equally annoying, with the exception being the Leopard 2A7 or the Swedish variants somehow a little less annoying. To make the matter worse, the increase speed of top tier vehicles mean you can just blink once and you miss a target drove pass or someone peek over the cover and shot you because, you blink once. On top of the recent map shrinking shenanigans which further encourage the COD style bullcrap, your tank could suddenly blows up because someone got in the SU-34 just one minute into the game. I don’t bother top tier anymore

Skill based MM? That way to different and dependant of the vehicule used for most people.

The game isn’t based on Fair Gameplay,… so a skilled based MM would have the result of having all people doing Bad at 13.7 to be pushed in downtiers all the time, while the others would be consistently fighting uptier.
(Even if i’m already in this bullshitery uptier).

The skill based MM System is not adapted to such a game that is WT.

All those quoted games are based on the fact that weapons are much more similar to each others, you have acccess to the same amount of frags, or abilities,…

Which War Thunder isn’t,…

First we should get rid of all the User Interface,…
Doing so will instantly kill 90% of the player base,… the problem ain’t skill, it’s knowledge, and too many players relies on having the best weapon/radar.

“Hey man, my aircraft only has six of the best A2G missiles in the game and the exclusive benefit of being protected by the only SPAA in the game that can immediately engage a just-spawned-in enemy fighter.”

I don’t do the CAS but moot point considering the Panstir, Like the 2S38, isn’t a death bubble or something

I don’t tend to play much ground, because I’m not all that good at it, but I think more than anything with the US it’s just the size of the player base since the US has a large population, but also because it’s equipment is very prevalent in media that your less well read person who picks up the game is more likely to want to go for the F-14 because it’s in Top Gun as opposed to the Eurofighter despite the latter being better. It’s the same reason why people who play Germany for the Tigers often time have trouble with it, because a good chunk of their knowledge comes from media that paints it as a God of a tank.
Edit: I’m tired so I didn’t articulate my point on the Tiger the best, to be clear I’m referring to people who play the Tiger because they’ve seen it portrayed in media as an unkillable counter to everything the Allies and Soviets could throw at it.

not 12 but 6

and AASM and Mavericks are both subsonic / transsonic, twice or even thrice as slow as a Kh38. Note that Kh38’s speed also makes the fuse on SAMs work only half the time for some reason (shouldn’t be the case).

Shooting down 3-4 mavericks can be done fairly easily, but if some random Su decides to throw more than 2 KH your way in a SPAA (and a good one at that, like HQ-17 or ITO) you’re pretty much done.

Regarding the topic, i’d say there is a 1 death leave problem with the US, likely due to premium spam, but let’s not pretend the problem doesn’t exist for other nations at other BRs

Im at 9.3 and the ODL is spreading… like rot…

sry didn’t get that,

the ODL ?

Edit : my bad, One Death Leave

yup, at russia’s 9.3 to 10.3 it’s quite widespread
