As a dedicated War Thunder player, I can’t help but express my frustration when playing top-tier battles and being placed on the same team as USA players. Statistically, the USA has the lowest win rate in the game, and it’s easy to see why. They die too quickly, rarely get kills, and contribute almost nothing to the team’s success. In many cases, having USA players on your team feels like playing with a handicap.
A possible solution to this issue could be placing the USA on both sides in the same match. This way, their presence would be more evenly distributed, preventing one team from being severely disadvantaged simply because it has more USA players. This approach could help balance matches and create a fairer gameplay experience for everyone.
For those interested in the statistics, here’s a link to the WT Data Project, where you can see the win rates and performance metrics by nation: WT Data Project.
What do you think? Would this change improve matchmaking in War Thunder?
In theory it should take multiple matches to drop you to a point that you see a noticeable difference in skill. If properly done, you shouldn’t be able to rig it easily, but Gaijin isn’t known for doing things properly.
lol that info is garbage. if one player on the other team is USA player and that team wins even if the USA player didnt get get a kill and only dies and leaves. This would just increase the win rate on your scale. couple months ago the top tier win rate was 39%, now its at 50% and people still crying.
Well, you’re wrong. It has worked great in many games such as: League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Overwatch, and Call of Duty (other than the most recent ones).
If it were true that US teams were doing significantly worse than other nations, Gaijin should adjust their BRs- at least if they were truthful in saying that they balance by stats.
