I just want to know at this point. Why is it that early french plane tail guns feel like they are just bouncing off the airframe of biplanes? It feels as if no damage is dealt whereas every other country with similar calibre do more damage? We are talking about a biplanes entire front and windshield eating every bullet to no effect. I sunk all my tailgunner ammo into a biplane to no effect other than fire. Into the wings, into the engine, into the fuselage itself to no avail. Can we just swap out the MAC for “Crossman Air Rifle”?
That is all it feels like at this point for every time I get an enemy on my six, it feels as if no damage is dealt. Why even have a tail gun at this point when people don’t even have a need to fear it? Historically accurate or not, still infuriating and yes. That biplane was flying level with me not even evading and ate every bullet and survived the entire thing putting me in the ground.
Like I get it but now I see why players avoid these planes and they they are rarely seen. Can’t defend yourself against a Bi Plane 1 whole BR lower than you when you only have an air rifle for defense. I will never understand how any planes were shot down with this MAC 1934.
