Since currently there are only two squadron vehicles for France (CV9035NL and the F-16) neither of which is actually french are there any plans on adding more actually french vehicles as squadron to the tree?
Even if they are lower tier because this current situation is laughable. We could have had a squadron mirage and a light tank of some description (not like France is lacking in designs) but all we got was vehicles not even operated by France in any capacity. Even out of the 3 trees that only have 2 squadron vehicles (France, Israel, Italy) it is the only one to not have either a domestic design or even a domestically operated vehicle.
This simply makes no sense to me and I would love to see something be done about it.

Sadly Gaijin doesn’t like France.
The last time I can remember France having a uniquely good vehicle was the AMX-30 super back when it was top tier.
And it is not like France doesn’t have options, IMO the EMBT could have been an option but many more exist
You could add the amx-13-105 (not that much different from tech tree options), about 10+ light tank options, elc even series, modified amx 10RC.
There is probably also dozens of slight plane variants they could add.
But I am well aware gaijin just does not like the tree. The addition of benelux was just the thinnest veiled pretending to add something new so they can start adding copy paste stuff and start ignoring french additions or put them on the backburner.
“Oh but the french tree got new stuff.” Yeah sure copy paste leopards and F-16s what a deal.
The only part of the tree that has gotten any unique attention has been naval for some reason.
I feel like the whole purpose of the BeNeLux sub-tree was for gaijin to shove some copy-paste into the french tree… sure we got the Fokkers, but that’s it in terms of unique BeNeLux vehicles. we could get some Cockerill creations, or dutch ships, but nope, more Leopards and F-16s…
And with the funky prototypes the french came up with, there is no shortage of vehicles that could be event/squadron vehicles…
Dutch Belgian ships to germany for whatever reason, french tree with the highest amount of F-16 in game. Dutch and belgian copy paste squadron vics instead of french copy paste squadron ones. More damage done than problems fixed. They never even fixed the lack of lineups at certain BR
Belgian actually. which makes it worse, as Belgium doesn’t have a lot of significant ships… Artevelde, despite not being very good, should have been added as its planned configuration in the french tree, not as a german refit… but there’s a slimmer of hope, as gaijin now allows for the same ship but in different refits to be added (Giulio Cesare/Novorossiysk). now whether that rule was solely to sell a new premium or if they’re intending on expanding some trees, that remains to be seen…
All of that in the tree of a country that never operated the F-16… not like we could get some more Mirage variants…

imo it would have made more sense to add Switzerland to France, and the Netherlands to Germany (unified command and all). Belgium as a french sub-tree makes sense, but if it’s to get endless copy-paste vehicles, it’s not that interesting…
And yet more than half their ground vehicles are codeveloped with france while they also used a lot of french planes. It was just an excuse to add french jets to germany let’s be honest.
And the two premiums that can grind top tier air and ground respectively are an F-16 and a Leopard 2a4. France is the only nation without a domestically designed top tier grinding premium for air and ground.
As for the overall issue, the obvious answer to help address just about everything is the EPC family of Leclerc prototypes. There are 6 of them, and th’at’d sit around 11.3-11.7 (similar armor and mobility to a Leclerc, but with only the base apfsds round)
One for the TT, one as a premium, and you could add another as a squadron vehicle
Yeah those are just another of the millions of punches to the gut gaijin has been throwing at players of the french tree. Just like the squadron vehicles they could have been copy paste french designs. A slightly different mirage 2000 or even a made up skin for the MSC like all those anime gooner tanks. But no, we need a premium leopard that has no lineup at all when they say they add subtrees to “fill out lineups and close gaps”
