i have currently been playing the AMX M4 from France, i have noticed multiple things at the first sec i watched the tech tree: France lacks 7.0/7.3 tanks and aircrafts to fill their line-ups.
u have to bring a 6.3 SPAA and a 6.0/6.3 prop plane to 7.0 against more modern tanks and planes (even jets at this point) which are way superior.
in full uptiers u could face a ZSU-37-2 with radar in the F8F-1B, or face an Ar 234 C-3 that can shred u into pieces.
so i would like to hear people’s opinion about what vehicles could be added to the french TT to fill that gaps of empty space at this BR.
Which is the same for every other nation at 6.3
AMX-M4 is decent, or just play a different br. Every country has similar gaps.
Or just play 6.3 where the vehicles belong
Judging as France got shredded after ww2 and didn’t have much production, there’s not too many options. Definitely not the worst tech tree gaps though, Japan goes from the G4M1 to modern jets.
I have done it, Chi-Ri till now, and Ki-83 as highest tier.
What planes would you add in that gap? There’s quite a lot of aircraft missing around 8.x and 9.x (Aquilon, Mistral, Mirage IVA…) but I can’t think of any at 7.0 or 7.3. Except if you put the Ouragans at 7.3, but I can’t tell if that should be done because I haven’t played others nations at that BR so I can’t tell how it compares to others.
i have played the israelian one and it’s mid: the cannons are good, decent thrust, decent maneuverability, “high wing rip speed” and overall they’re mid for 7.7.
idk, that’s why i’m asking for other people who know more than me about vehicles to give their opinion and ideas about different vehicles and their capability to fit that 7.0/7.3 empty lineups.
it would be a good idea to add some kind of TT french M46 (i know a premium french M46 exists, but it would feel just like M18 Hellcat and M18 Blackcat being each other the same tank) so u can use another 7.0 tank in ur lineups that isn’t a SPG.
