French fighters than play like the M.B.157

I’ve had a jolly good experience with the M.B 157 and I’ll soon start French rank VI. Is there any plane there that plays like the MB157? Or at least in a similar manner?

I’m going to assume you meant rank IV, in which case F4U-7 would be the closest in playstyle (fast plane that can do some turning).
If it’s rank VI… the Etendard maybe?

The closest one imo is the F8F. But looking at the actual french designs… None of them.

Also a tip for rank VI France. Ignore the F86K and F84F. They suck. The super mystere can work and the alpha jet is quite decent.

I know about the F84F, but why the 86?

Because it only becomes playable when you spade it. Stock it has nothing. Flight performance is bad. Acceleration, nonexistent. Turning ,not happening. Weapons, ass, can ot be put on target.

I tried playing it a couple times and it just does not work as a plane.

Plus it’s ugly as sin
