I am grinding france rank 7 right now and I am looking at these planes. I am pretty sure the USA f8s have flares but the french one doesn’t seem to have those which IMO makes the plane pretty much useless. Why doesn’t it have flares and is it worth using ?
Probably france didnt buy it with them or gaijin oofed up
F-8E if i recall it has access to magic 1’s which are very good at its BR so i’d say its worth it
I mean mirage has them too. Also mirage lacks flares but has better armement and flightmodel so the f8 just seems outclassed. I will try them both but it just seems silly

There is documentation of them not buying it with irst which I have seen. But I dont think there is proof of it not having flares. I am not sure tho.
