Hello everyone and welcome to this new suggestion.
Today I present to you a French flotilla crest that would be interesting to add to the game as a decal, the 11F Seahorse

The first combat unit of the French naval aviation, with its roots in the B102 squadron (the unit that carried out the first takeoffs and landings of the French Navy on Bapeaume and Béarn), the 11F flotilla is probably one of the most legendary units of the French Navy. Founded in 1953, this unit has survived the ages and evolved over the generations.
Initially equipped with F6F Hellcats, the 11F received its first jet aircraft in 1953 in the form of the Aquilon, which it operated during the Algerian War. The unit will be dissolved while it moves to Etendard IV (common for many flotillas, the units are dissolved until all the aircraft are operational and then reformed). With these new aircraft, the flotilla will be deployed with the aircraft carriers Foch and Clemenceau throughout the world during various operations, notably during Operation Saphir in the Indian Ocean. The first unit to receive Super Etendards (in 1978), the 11F flotilla will for a long time be one of the main units of the French naval aviation nuclear deterrent with the AN-52 bombs and then the ASMP missile. During Operation Trident, the 11F participated in the strikes on Kosovo and Serbia and was the unit with the most successful firing, with a success rate of 73% for the destruction of targets (415 Super Etendard sorties will be carried out during this period). Over time, the aircraft were upgraded to Standard 3, 4, and then 5. Deployed on the Charles de Gaulle, the 11F participated in various operations in Afghanistan and around the world. The 11F was also the last to abandon the Super Étendard, which it used until the end on its Standard 5. The unit is still in service today and now operates Rafale Ms, which are much more modern and capable of carrying out their missions.
Fun Fact:
Although the symbol of this squadron is the Seahorse, the 11F is part of the NATO Tiger Association. Indeed, the squadron, having long served on the aircraft carrier Clemenceau (a politician nicknamed “The Tiger”), was eventually integrated into the association. It even hosted the Tiger Meet in 2008 at the Landivisiau base.
