Hello, I’m an Apple Mac Mini M4 user.
I’ve been playing this game for a long time on this device flawlessly, but something with the last 1-2 updates messed up the game.
I went from being able to play without any issue, to experiencing constant freezes and stuttering on my device. I play on 3440x1440 with everything on LOW Preset, VSYNC Off. The average FPS are extremely good, averaging 80 for ground, and 100-110 for air.
What is making this game unplayable for me is the random FPS drop that last 1-2 seconds, where the game basically drops to 5-15fps making me loose control of vehicles, being unresponsive, and often dying in airplanes.
I noticed it particularly happens when loading enemies or bomb diving.
I do not think that there’s any issue with my disk, I’ve tried both the internal Mac mini SSD which is more than powerful enough to handle this game, and an external 6Gbps SATA SSD, both show this issue. I’ve also checked thermals and it’s not the case.
What is wrong with this game? I’m sure it wasn’t like this.
