Freezing on startup on Mac OS

For the past 7 days, the game has been freezing after launching on the “connect to server” attempt. This started after updating to Mac OS X 12.7.6. When I restart my computer, I can sometimes enter the hangar, but it freezes within a few minutes.

What type of Mac you using?

MacBook Pro, 16-inch, 2019. 2,4 GHz 8‑cores Intel Core i9, AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4 gb, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 mb, 32 gb 2667 MHz DDR4.

Can you try to software update to 15.5? as most user and me have a better performance after the update.

Mac OS update, right?

Yes

uploading, I’ll try

alright 👍

Unfortunately, it turned out to be not so easy, you actually need to do a complete reinstallation of the system. Damn auto-update. I’ll probably wait for a patch, it’s a pity for the lost money on the burning premium account and the idle battle pass

Just do it. Just update it. took me about 3 hours.

dmg with the old version doesn’t run. You need to use a bootable flash drive or reset to factory settings and lose all your files. This is already masochism

Are you using ultralow?
Had similar issue happening, helped to change graphics to just low.

Yes, ultra low. Thank you, will try today, write back.

Yes, thank you again. It helped, and now it doesn’t freeze, even though the FPS has dropped

I was in a hurry (I managed to play a few aerial battles, but it also freezes on the ground.

shouldnt be that much of drop.
had maybe 10 fps drop on MBP 2019

You’re going to need to update over 14.0 the software that update have a specific feature called "Game mode"it’s going to make your game run very smooth and fast basically 2x the original performance. My Mac before the update run around at 60-70 fps after the update the game run more smoother and able to run on higher graphics while maintaining around 120Fps

I haven’t heard of this. I’ll think about it, but I don’t want to mess with a bootable flash drive and lose my data.

I checked the info. The game mode requires an Apple core, which is available since 14.0 on all versions. There’s no need to bother with it. And my mac on intel.

you won’t loose your data. your account is secure by gaijin.
