When I launch
Game will still boot up and can be interacted with, but “freeze detected” stays and becomes a crash if you click “ok.”

yeah currently running “check files” after having verified the steam file integrity, thanks.
EDIT: and it’s fine now, awesome.

Likely just an issue due to corrupt files during the update or something then :)
