Honestly Yes because it will give us a better idea of if we want to actually spend GE on premiums in normal WT because the test drive doesn’t let us get to dodge missiles and test our vehicles defensive capabilities.

This is honestly why i never do the dev server. How am i supposed to test things if i cant get them?
I guess they expect us to grind out a top tier vehicle in a day or two?

To be fair it is 4 times reseach if im not mistaken. Still seems low for a very temp bug test however.
should just give everyone access to the new stuff on the dev server to play around with.

There could be a reason they don’t do this, but I have never seen it.
probably cause everyone would spam them idk
if i remember correctly gaijin used to give everyone free ge on dev server a long time ago (pre 2018 i think, the same time when ge wager still a thing you can get), don’t know why they don’t do it anymore
The dev server is really not a testing server. Its more like a hype server. Hence why content creators get to test all the vehicles and get alot of golden eagles. If it was a test server, they would like every other game, give everyone the new vehicles to play with from the get go.

The entire point of the DEV Server is to find bugs with the new vehicles and update.

Sometimes things are named in such a way to make people think its something it is not.
Dev server is just a playground for CC to show off vehicles, and purposely gatekeeps players out of testing (and possibly finding out they don’t want) whatever new stuff is coming out.
Even watching the CC having to click through all the modifications 1 at a time is enough to make me not want to touch it with a ten foot pole, its honestly extremely dumb how it’s implemented, even being a chore for people who have unlimited GE.
We aren’t even allowed to test drive vehicles we don’t own the preceding vehicle of or is a premium/event vehicle that tells you why the dev server is closed off like it is.

The take on itself is good however i think there should be a “rule” in my opinion you automaticly get the new vehicle if you researched the previous vehicle. Because if ge would be free then ANYONE could buy entire tech trees and play the vehicles they like the most and not the new ones
That is why I think all new vehicle additions should be given to every person on the dev server. I really don’t see the reason for people to grind to get the vehicles just to test them. It wastes time where people could be enjoying the new vehicles or testing them to find bugs. In the end, at least to me, just giving all the new additions to CC on the dev server just strengthens my point that the dev server is a hype server. Are vehicles unfinished on it? Yes. Are there bugs on the vehicles? Yes. But if they really cared about ironing the bugs they would give new vehicles to every player.
Never used the dev server. Always thought you could open all vehicles there immediately, with free GE or in some other manner. Otherwise what is the point? Waste time grinding there?? All your effort gone down the drain after a few days. Thanks, but no.

The dev server should at very minimum have new vehicles unlocked to test, why should we have to grind out the research to test the vehicles they want tested???
