So for the first update of 2026 it seems France really is only getting a single ship…
I mean disappointment is nothing new for French mains, but this really is a shame. Were not even getting the usual copy paste tank or aircraft this time.

Wow! Something the French actually have that we’re missing.
Yeah, an AMX10 RCR SEPAR would have been welcome and doesn’t require much more work than a copy-paste.

u already got Rafale from previous updates which has been terrorizing the old metas at toptier, it isn’t that hard to just let other nations get good things too…
they will probably give u something new in the next update.
france at toptier is pretty well off they have a good SPAA being the SAMP-T and the RAFALE with the leclercs being average
what could use some adjustment is low tier

A ship =/= getting nothing.
Other trees have received naval additions only in previous updates too, it’s hardly unprecedented.
There’s so much fun stuff in the French tree for you to enjoy. Don’t worry, the one constant of WT is continuous expansion, so you’ll get new stuff you like eventually.
Considering that less then the 0.01% combined play naval assault and simm plus eli ec. Yes adding only naval is like not adding anything

Brother, you do not want to be making that argument lol. If it was followed to the letter, 90% of vehicles in every single update would have to be exclusive purview of the Big Three.
I think it’s obvious that Gaijin releases content they believe supports their wider business model rather than try to match it 1:1 with the distribution of the player base.
France does not need anything new at top tier, it need something to fill gaps in the TT.

Most wouldn’t even be that much work since those missing are mostly upgraded imports
