Fragmentation Rounds

Anyone realize how bad fragmentation rounds are? I generally avoid them but that’s not always possible but I was playing the B7A2 and I directly nail a spitfire pilot 3 times from the top and it poof poof poof and he started smoking but he was otherwise completely fine. This kind of thing is constant nail someone nothing nail someone nothing at least I can use APHE where it has WAY! more fragmentation … for some reason.

Anyone else have this issue??

Were you getting awarded with hits? Or did you just see the visual impacts?

The reason I ask is that the latter usually implies netcode issues or desync. If you were awarded hits, that’s a different story.

Yesterday i played the S.O.8000 Narval, it has x6 20mm MG 151, i got 3 “Hit” on the same Do 335, somehow every single 20mm that isnt a ShVAK does little to no damage. And God knows i am not going crazy or a conspiracy theorist.

Yep got hits sadly.

A long time ago they called it real shatter it was supposed to make fragmentation like … “Realistic” but actually did the opposite making shrapnel explode and 1-20 pieces of fragments shot out if you check the protection analysis it still exists. Its odd that aphe has a TON of fragments like 10 times the amount that fragmentation does.
