With its superior speed and a turn rate of 18 (!), it is really a troll plane. Let’s see how things go over time, but I predict it will become a nuisance soon. We had three in enemy team already.

Don’t focus stat card stats, especially the turn time one. They’re unreliable when it comes to the aircraft model.
I watched the stat card only as my planes, with turn rates of 20 and 19, were utterly beaten in a dogfight by the FR-1. I was shocked, because this machine has the speed of a energy fighter and turning capabilities better than a Spitfire. It seems to have good acceleration as well, probably because it is a jet–prop hybrid. Those FR-1s will start to dominate, as they already did in the games I was in. I wish it has at least one weak spot. At the moment, I don’t see any.
Again those numbers mean nothing
Here’s one: It’s heavy and hates slow speed. The slower it gets the less efficient the jet engine is, and its stall speed is quite poor because of it. Get it slow.
Another is that it only has 4 12.7s, which are more than enough to get the job done, but still leaves a bit to be desired.
I will agree however that its acceleration is quite high (especially at higher speeds, it just keeps getting faster and faster), and its climb rate is decent enough to be on par with most aircraft at the BR. Its energy retention is decent, and its high speed turning is on par with aircraft like the mustang. That, on top of the fact it can outrun anything it faces, means 4.7 might be a fair BR. I’ll need to play it a bit more to test its dogfighting performance, but it’s not absurdly powerful to the point of wrecking lobbies I’d say.
I didn’t bought it, but i saw it in action, and i can test it, and I am afraid, that in this case stats card is quite correct (nope, those numbers mean something!) . It really has very good turn rate - even at low speeds - without drop tanks. At least it can outmaneuver most planes at its BR. This is actually its strongest point, as it can lure enemies into turn fights. Most players do not yet realize how good dogfighter it is. Its dive speed goes over 800 km/h, then it starts break up. And it can go WEP insanely long time.
