FR-1 Fireball: A Name Too Fitting

The sentence is still wrong though? It should be:

The Fireball is the first aircraft with mixed propeller and jet engine propulsion

The rocket motors used on the Me 262s were not just RATO boosters, they were fully functional motors that could be turned off and on by the pilot at will.

The Walter HWK 109-509 on the C-1a was even the same engine as used on the Me 163, so the claim that we didn’t already have a mixed propulsion aircraft in War Thunder is incorrect.

I’ll just copy it here…

This is outlandish. It’s the only Production mixed propulsion fighter aircraft the US ever operated. Save the prototypes for the premiums! The Fireball has prototype variants itself too, and more importantly there’s the XF15C and the Dark Shark.

Please rethink this.

They would be better off just in the tech tree. Not everything has to be paywalled or FOMO-based.

I can imagine this thing being an absolute nuisance to deal with if it’s anything like the Wyvern.
