I have a very good pc that runs war thunder with the settings just below cinematic at 350fps , but some days out of nowhere war thunder will drop to 30 fps (with very bigs drops to 10 fps) out of nowhere , no other softwares opened all other games run smoothly so its just a war thunder problem, when it happens i tried deactivating antialiasing and putting the lowest possible graphics and deactivate dx12 and it doesnt even affect 1fps , like i said it happen only to war thunder some games i start with 350fps and out of nowhere sudden fps crash , sometimes i can play a whole day without fps drops , i tried uninstalling it 3 times , playing it either on steam or launcher , i tried deactivate optimizations windows , play windowed , i tried turning the pc off and on , update it , update the drivers , restart graphic drivers , i have no gpu problem (normal temps 36C at 100% , no ram or cpu issues , no psu issues , its a war thunder thing) im really tired i just want to play normally. i hope you can help me
I had a similar problem recently (last night, hours ago) with my War Thunder also hiccuping after hitting +93% usage. Seems the update might’ve messed something up with the shaders or something of like that for some. I fixed it more or less after clearing out my shader cache (under …\War Thunder\compiledShaders) and my cache (under …\War Thunder\Cache), as well as reinstalling my drivers and toggling DX12 to 11 and then back to 12. I also reverified my files just in case, and it redownloaded 22. Do make sure to check your folder for leftovers that Steam doesn’t delete itself when uninstalling as well if you’re planning to reinstal. And, just as a last resort, do a drive check.
Damn i tried all you said and its the same even slightly worse its now at 15 fps
