Hi,
I’ve noticed that after the latest update my fps in hangar is capped at 30fps, even though i have stable 80+ fps in battle. I’ve tried messing with the setting but nothing seems to help.

I have capped to 170FPS in matches, and in the hangar I can’t get above a smooth 150FPS

I have a custom hangar and the FPS is not reduced. So this problem is probably connected with the festive hangar being too resource-intensive, so Gaijin has limited FPS there?
that was also my first thought but i remember it not being reduced both a year ago and on holidays
I’m on 2.39.0.119, standard hangar (Halloween one at the moment) and not getting any limits on hangar fps.
I actually wish there was a setting to set something like 30 or 60 max fps in the hangar. Why need more in hangar? It’ll give your gfx card a bit of rest (and with a reduction in heat – plus save some energy).
If you’re on nvidia you can set a Background App Max framerate … although that should only kick in when War Thunder is in the background. AMD might have something similar (or other vendors) … not sure what you’re on. But you can double check that.
