Fox is still overpowered

USSR Should have just made something comparable to the Fox SMH

still, they preach about accuracy but also make changes like this to appease people on forums and reddit, less of an issue if they didn’t embrace the whole realism thing but it’s good marketing

In Britain’s defence, once they’ve resolved their terrible product it does usually get brought up to be significantly better than the competition (outside of France).

If this game was realistic, the American tree wouldn’t hold their hand anywhere near as much. But it isn’t realistic, they don’t care. If the yanks cry, shit gets nerfed. If the yanks cry, stuff doesn’t get brought up on parity with reality. Leclerc, Ariete, Chally all being good examples of that.

It’s not the Yanks crying about it. It’s the Ivans crying about it. Least get that part straight, my dude.

Ivan developers. They’ve shown they listen to the Ivan playerbase more on top of the Dev’s own preferences.

They could nerf the Fox by leaving the handbrake on when driving, that would be realistic : )

I now just have a mental image of a fox doing donuts to evade enemy shell fire

That would be a memory to some : ) Lucky they weren’t as unstable as people claimed

Oh, I’m sure. That’s why American stuff is overperforming considerably compared to available documentation.

I really don’t care for this debate, I’ve no horse in the race other than getting sick of Yank tears shafting minor nations.

Oh? Like what? Because the Abrams, Stryker, Bradley, ADATS and HSTVL sure as hell aren’t overperforming. The majority of the ground tree ranges from middlin’ to garbage depending on BR range, with only a few vehicles that can even be classified as rightly competitive. What, you gonna bring up the AGS? Keeps getting uptiered without getting an appropriate round. The LOSAT? Lol it’s garbage, trust me.

What, you gonna bring up air? The XP-50? Everyone already knows that. The Tomcat? Phoenixes still aren’t even as good as they are IRL and they’re getting a BR raise so that complaint is a moot point. The F2G? It’s okay but not superb. The Crusaders were garbage for a long time before getting fixed and now they’re seeing an uptier so that’s also a moot point. The F-89? Sure that can go to the same BR as the Su-11 but it’s never been all that good.

Once again I’ll remind you; It hasn’t been Yanks shafting Minor nations. It’s been Ivans because they stand to benefit the most from it.

You literally have an IvanBoo who made this thread to have a meltdown about the Fox, ffs. You’re losing your eyes, here.

Out of sheer comedy factor I second all of this.

I third it for the hell of it.

I do remember the famously Russian CR2 turret mantlet.

My experience when playing the C2DS has always been; Mantlet shot always pens and at best I lose the breach while at worst I lose breach and crew.

Been a bit since I’ve played it so I don’t know if it’s any better. Though I had picked it up way back for half off so my feelings weren’t as bruised as those who paid in full for it.

Okay but when do I get my drakens with all-aspect missiles at 10.7/11.3 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If OP wants Su-39 with R-77s at 12.0, then sure, im down for it.

Deal.

Also fun fact- based on stats alone, they are straight up better then AIM-9Ls lmao

Huh, actual, actionable statline of the round. Any source on where this is from? I have seen the claims made over and over about the round existing and effectively being a modification of a RM 30mm APFSDS round, but if we got full sourcing, could push it as a round for later RARDEN users at least, even if not the Fox.

Though IIRC other tanks do have ammunition they never would get irl due to timeframes for balance… lol.

Britain for many years had tried or atleasr attempted to get a apfsda round for the RARDEN…not the first and not the 2nd all seem to be recased german ones … most called L21A1

Most specificly it was RWM or Oerlikon under Rheinmetall who seem to have recased l21a1
