Also, thanks for reporting my post from when I brought up the documentation regarding the 2a72 from the Russian arms manual.
If you keep reporting my posts, it only sheds more light on the fact you like a super op vehicle, and dislike the USSR, and wish to keep these vehicles the way they are.
I already told you I don’t report posts, one of my posts was reported as well.
There is other people on the forums capable of reporting stuff.
I don’t know if the 2a72 uses brass ammo or not, I’m going to assume it does, I can’t recall the last time I’ve heard of a tank case being steel.
Also, I’m not considering the most up to date ammo, nor do I thing gaijin does unless they’re talking about mbts.

We need a gaijin employee to describe how they determine auto cannon stats.
The point isn’t ass pulling half of the vehicles in the tech tree that have been nerfed over their history.
The point is when there is 1…One singular semi relevent vehicle in Britain(or any minor nation), all it takes is a extremely small but vocal minority for that vehicle to be gutted and nerfed to oblivion.
When literally the majority of people that have commented on this thread have agreed the Fox is fine where it is.

Your also forgetting that a lot of people who despise a certain vehicle never bring that to the forums if it’s OP and stomping, I still see people complain in game about the fox, so I don’t think it’s just a few of us.
Your point, which you missed, is the exact point I made.
Due to player opinion, most of the USSR tech tree has been nerfed.
Great example: Mi-35, is now a 10.7, with the capabilities of a 10.0, maybe a 10.3, (it was honestly fine at 10.3), but everyone else except I think France now has a 10.0 helicopter which is wayy better than the Mi-35…
So it’s not just the Uk that gets nerfed for “player opinion”

Given the majority of comments of this thread are telling you essentially Get Good.
- 2 Different Vehicles Types - RCV vs APC
- Russia is a major nation - WAY larger population of lesser skilled players
- Britain being a minor nation - Smaller population of higher skilled players
- Fox being 1 of the FEW CVRTs in the game. Being that CVRT are one of the most requested tank families to be added to the game for Britain. So players that want to play CVRT can ONLY play the Fox.
This is pinnacle of why the French ground vehicles are where they are.
Good Players play mid tanks → Tank stats go up → Gaijin sees high stats → Must mean tank is OP → Tanks raises in BR or nerfed → Has to face tanks it stand little chance against

It does not, Russian 30x165mm is steel cased.
Modern 30x173 is already in the game with the MK30 and MK44 30mms that are on a multiple IFVs. Those manufacturers websites list 370-400 MPa for a majority of the rounds.
The Rarden was achieving 420 MPa or higher in the 1980s.

You see this anytime there’s a vehicle with a gimmick that actually forces big 3 nation mains to play intelligently :D
Just look at how many people cry over the IKV 103, a paper-armored turretless TD that only really has good gun depression and a 400mm pen round as positives :P

Even more ironic, it’s the IvanBoos that cry the hardest. Gaijin has backpacked Russia for far, far too long that the IvanBoos became delusional beyond belief.

About the Fox? Nah, haven’t seen it.

I do find it funny how you ignored all the people who agree that the Fox is OP.
French tanks got nerfed because most of them were paper tanks / prototypes if I recall, not to mention 5-6 sec autoloaders at 6.7-7.7 were really what got them nerfed.
The French tree is probably the second easiest compared to the USA.
So I got my fox today, and boy… was I right.
Right out the box this thing is able to cross an entire map in 1-2 mins,
53 pen was slightly a problem, but that was really only with the USA heavies, then I got APDS. I went from a 1.0 kd on average to now a 1.65 kd.
Only thing is can’t really pen is a maus.
The stock grind is super freaking easy. 14 matches in and I’ve already almost spaded it (granted was playing with my dog for two of those, so I pretty much sat there and died.
That turret traverse is so OP I had two people try to push me on opposite sides from one another, and i was able to kill them both.
It eats shells as if it’s a maus itself, and can drive fine with even just 2 tires.
I’ve almost had 4 nukes today in it. Sadly didn’t get to drop any as when I was paired with the Germans or Russians vs the USA, the USA would steam roll us because the Germans missed their shots and the Russians couldn’t pen.
The two biggest tanks I had trouble dealing with, were the T26e5 and the T34 (usa), which I’ve been saying for awhile that both of those tanks should move to 7.0
Most of my deaths in the tank have been me being too careless, or too lead footed. One of those times I looked at my phone for a sec and was too far out of bounds to get back in lol.
TL;DR the fox can perfectly sit at 8.0, because then it actually needs a brain cell to drive it.
Edit: just dropped a nuke. Literally almost was able to drop 5-6 nukes today in the fox alone. Will post all the hate mail I got etc.
Because the overwhelming majority understand that the Fox is fine where it is at.
Braindead players not having the awareness nor the game knowledge to completely counter the Fox is what allows it do what it does.
People are just crying that its fast and has high pen for a 30mm. When the Rarden is one the worst of light tank auto cannons.
The only reason people feel like that Rarden does alot of damage is because Gaijin fixed the ammo bug and Solid shot/apds was one of the worst offenders of blacking ammo prefix.
