14.5mm is a pretty rare machine gun, only a few TT vehicles have it outside of SPAA. T-10M and Object 435 are the only ones that come to mind.
Did you see the videos I posted earlier?
They work fine out of an M2 at least
Russian 12.7s are more powerful than USA 12.7s, the Russian ones have a longer case length.
Is it enough to matter against fox though?
still common enough to be a main cause of death for me in a fox when I don’t get torn apart be a 100mm APCBC
by a lot yes
No lol. Neither seems to kill the fox, you need a 20mm gau or bigger
I see the forum gods have re-listed this to vehicle discussion
If they give SLAP rounds should solve issue
XM800 may be tracked but the Fox is still so much faster even when taking into account its status as a wheeled vehicle that having tracks becomes less relevant. And the Fox is also far faster in reverse which is very important for rats.
Fox also has far better pen to the point where it can actually kill most things it faces (American/Russian side armor) where with the XM800 there are things you just can’t kill outside of setting fires which is obviously impractical.
not off topic, i’m just responding to what you’ve posted, and in a situation where there are multiple targets most crews will load without closing the door, as it allows much faster reloads.
flat out wrong. Either you have a skill issue shooting them or are just lying
off the line they are very close and a 5mph higher speed isn’t much. Its not worth anything 90% of the time as nobody gets that fast
yep dshk’s are cool. US .50’s should get slap rounds above ~8.0 though.
Anything from 80’s or newer
And afaik only US had them
also wheeled vehicles have horrible traction offroad, and are bouncy asf.
years ago when there was the problem of R3, which was nothing compared to how toxic the fox is in the game given the devastating impact of the hits, which is ridiculous, the devs intervened promptly with numerous nerfs, here the situation seems to have been left deliberately free. nothing was done to balance it except limiting the rotation of the turret, which is a technical aspect not a nerf related to the game itself.
yep only a us thing
The ammo in the Aubl which I compared it to, is sitting right next to the gunner / commander… right under the breech. Your point?
