Fox is still overpowered

It is actually 7.0 and is fine there. Turms is 10.3 because it isn’t good enough to go higher, and it’s also fairly easy to kill. The T-55AM1 is 8.7 for the same reason the TAM and Turm II are 8.7/8.3: poor players and compression.

As for the 2S38 and BMP-2M, it’s poor statistics due to bad players, and having somewhat comparable vehicles at a similar BR.

Oh no someone plays alot of Russia, time to call them names.

If I were saying what they were, what would your reaction be?

Fox was OP at 7.0, it’s fine at 7.7.

IS-3 was moved up to 7.3 recently, and TURMS is 10.0. Both are fine there though

That’s right it got downtiered when it didn’t even need it. Fine work, Gaijin. Turms can absolutely go to 10.7 or maybe even 11.0 and do fine. It’s just Gaijin copping out, just like with the 2S38, 55-AM1, BMP-2M and so on, bad players aside. Same can be said for other vehicles like the Turm lll and Tam, so I’ll grant that much.

It’s not calling insults if it’s factual. Simple as.

Same goes for when folks call me a FreeaBoo or NipponBoo or whatever, as those two nations are my most played. Though the difference is I make better arguments and don’t go pitching a fit when a minor Nation gets a halfway decent or good vehicle like the Fox.

It’s not that hard a vehicle to counter. Those crying about it just have skill issues. Simple as.

Both need to be uptiered.

IS-3, to 7.7.

Turms to 10.7 or 11.0

what

The only “point” you have made is that you have no “point” or valid reason for the Fox to either be nerfed or go up in BR

:)

IS-3 is a worse IS-4M, and they both have terminal “heavy tank syndrome”, they are amazing in downtiers but awful in uptiers. The IS-3 would be fighting AMX-30B2s, Strv 104s, M60A1 RISE (P) and more at 7.7.

TURMS is not really even that good at 10.0 lmao, it has a good round, good optics, and okay armor and that’s it.

Poor mobility, bad reload, awful gun handling, awful reverse, poor survivability. You think it should be same BR as T-90A (better mobility and 3BM60 [and the T-90A isn’t even very good at 10.7 either lmao]), or M1A1 (better everything by a large amount aside from thermals)?

Heat failing isnt really a unique thing about the fox, but a general problem that affects pretty much every light vehicle (bmps more than any other in my experience)

  1. Oh, just like the other heavy tanks that are at 7.7 - Which is very much a compression issue as we all know. However, that doesn’t mean the IS-3 should get a pass when it’s quite better than other 7.0-7.3 HTs.

  2. Thermal quality is quite a big deal, actually. The armor is better than just " okay " with overperforming ERA. And given how maps are quite CQB oriented much of the mobility issue is basically a moot point, and even long range maps aren’t problematic because the Turms doesn’t have to work as hard to aim for weakspots like the competition does. Playing it is primarily a point and click adventure.

It can very well go to 10.7 and 11.0 and still perform.

Ever seen HEATFS and even APHE ricochet off the BMP’s LFP? I have. Sheer insanity of it lol.

How? Even on paper it seems to be worse than the Leopard 2A4s. Slightly better round worse reload, worse survivability, and much worse mobility/gun handling. DM23 can even go through the Turms’ UFP at certain distances/angles.

11.7 has been top ground BR for a year and a half now (while air has gone from 12.0 to 13.7), i unfortunately don’t think they’re going to decompress ground any time soon. And even if they do, it probably won’t be 6.7-8.7 considering they did a major decompression in summer 2023 of that area.

As for the TURMS, the UFP is ~350mm with 400mm in some parts due to volumetric, but LFP and mantlet are completely and easily get penned. Thermals are nice to have but things like mobility, penetration, reload rate, and armor are more important. The T-90A is at 10.7 and is just better than the TURMS, it has Gen 2 thermals and much better armor, 3BM60 and better mobility.

Can I please please please convey my joy at the compilation of Brits (and others, of course) going “literally get good”

It makes me so happy to see so many people.

I’m also going to be very naughty and nitpick - the Fox is a “CVR(W)” (W for wheeled)

Apart from the Striker, which is just plain ass, we have no CVR(T)s in game (though the Stormer is a lengthened CVR(T) hull in essence)

I propose to give the Fox STAB.

Most 10.0s and 10.3s can UFP the TURMs, and I’m not really sure how the ERA is overperforming with its 5mm of KE protection. The TURMs can still be UFPed by tandem ATGMs, all you’re stopping is normal HEAT rounds.

Also saying that mobility means nothing is definitely one of the claims of all time. It’s fairly easy to outflank a TURMs, especially in something like an Abrams or 2A4. The TURMs basically gives up everything for its round and thermals, which isn’t even that impressive when you consider that a lot of 10.0s have very similar performing rounds, without sacrificing mobility or gun handling. You could possibly make a case for it to be 10.3, but 10.7 or 11.0 is far too high.
