just sick and tired of seeing F-15s fully loaded with 8x aim-120s and not a single short range missiles
also in close range theyre basically undodgeable unless you (somehow) manage to notch in whats basically a second
High G barrel roll, the missile doesn’t have time to accelerate and pull AOA at those ranges.
Do what the lower plane is doing and unless it’s a MICA it’s not hitting.

Hey, that’s the maneuver I did when I fired an AIM-7F on an enemy that launched an AIM-120 on me.
I lived, they didn’t.

Best part is it works on nearly every radar missile, you can do it on Phoenixes and F90s even last minute. Probably the most useful trick I have ever found in war thunder.

A AIM-9M Sidewinder will destroy you with more efficiency at close range than a AIM-120. You will be totally destroyed in the same way.
This F-15 just used a different load out, but the result would be probably the same.
Just saying.
Bro I can’t dodge a AIM7F even with that manoeuvre but I use Aspides sometimes instead of IR so that they can’t flare.

Normally like 3 KM launch, I dodge it like 50% of the times and the rest is just proxy fuse time. I swear J8 crashes with even the slightest damage.
