Like it or not at some point Denmark will be added and most likely it will be sub tree for Sweden.
Gaijin already opened this door by adding sub trees, best way to deal with this is to adopt to the situation.

China as a full tech tree has more copy-paste as a percentage of its tech tree than the Hungarian sub tree does, and the Hungarian sub tree is the most copy-paste sub tree. That will change as development continues, and copy-paste is not necessarily bad.
Just because it says “F-16” or “2A7” does not make it copy-paste.
2A7V and 2A7HU for example are entirely different models.

I’m getting some mixed messages here. You want “copy slop Leopard 1”, but not “copy slop Leopard 2”. Can’t say I follow your logic there. 1A5DK gives you the turret you desire, without any of the downsides, and is more unique than the 1A3 could ever be just by its existence.
I haven’t made any suggestions for the 2A5DK or 2A7DK for that matter, as both are overkill for a tree that is already artifically buffed due to some people bending the words of documents, but these ones are what that artificial buff is, except real. Why would you add that when Sweden is already overperforming?
They gotta be added someday, yet now sure ain’t the time or place for them. Just don’t come in here calling all our filthy abominations copy paste while calling the 1A3 unique, because it don’t look good on you my man kek

So I shall attempt. There is something not lining up by calling the 1A3 unique “for at least having a different turret”, when the 1A5DK has the exact same feature, plus the otherupgrades that makes it good. They are two of the same base models, with same base appearance, so how does it make sense to only say one of them has a single justifiable feature when they share said feature?
i suppose i should have explained my point better
in game 1A3 and 1A5DK would have different br’s since they differ in features, hence making them somewhat different gameplay wise
for example:
A1A1 has a worse round, no thermals and no lrf, but it trades those features for much higher sight magnification and a lower br
and now finally on to my actual point:
1A3 has no lrf or thermals, retains the same 8-16x sight from base leo1
1A5DK is functionally identical to 1A5
1A3 could serve as a more mobile alternative for swedish 9.0 lineup (or maybe it could create a 8.3 lineup if it doesnt get dm23)
1A5DK already has a counterpart in the same tree - 1A5NO2, so it serves no real purpose
the same point stands for 2A5 and 2A7 - sweden already has a lineup of strong toptier mbts, there is really no need to bloat the tree with even more copyslop leo2’s
if you want national representation - add a skin for 2a4 or 122
Danish vehicles will come to Sweden sooner or later (we got 2(!) danish vehicles, a plane and a tank, in a single(!) update), however it should be noted Sweden doesn’t have all that much space in the ground tt. I’d rather have norwegian + danish sub-tree for air tt as there is still a vacant line + swedish aircrafts are… something for sure.
All in all, I hope Denmark won’t be represented in the game like author of this thread showed it in the first place
I looked into it, and I can’t find any reason or documentation for TEM and EMES-18 having different magnification, so it seems more like an arbitrary change Gaijin made because reason I suppose? I’m down to see any documents on it, otherwise I’d just tell Gaijin to fix the problem
