I mean you have this thing at the same BR as the PZIVF2 and such, with guns that just entirely negate it.
And its not like the 2 Pounder is a super weapon. Honestly i could MAYBE see 3.3 if you gave it a Little John adapter, BUT without that? its just a 2.7-3.0 heavy at most.
It has armor, and firerate. Combining with the 40 mm firerate and decent ammunition option for the cannon with the 76 mm smoke screen shells you can reduce the distance easily by playing as a brawler.
Let’s say everything (literally) from battle rating +3.7 can pierce Churchill Is’ armor, how about the battle rating -3.3 vehicles? As I said—it’s a brawler, the main gun is surely weaker compared to most of other vehicles, you have the 76 mm cannon that can be loaded with smoke screen shells, use that to enclose distance and use the frontal arc armor. This question was already answered, at least detailed explained by @Ansaraina in this post about this subject.
And speaking of that, Why isn’t there a premium British M22? Id love a little British M22 to run around in.
Hell sell it in a low tier Pack, have a Tetrarch with the option to fit the Little John, and a British M22. As a little glider tank pack thats just cheap and fun.
It’s buoyed by the APCBC ammunition which it historically would not have had access to, but yeah 3.3 is very tough for the Churchill I. Definitely one to remember for the next BR changes.
Because British players are good at the game. Simple as. If your players are good, you get punished. If your players are bad, you get rewarded. It’s why so many German vehicles are hilariously undertiered, and can easily stomp your team, meanwhile British, French, Italian, and Japanese players get constantly nerfed or overtiered (looking at you recent update that threw Spitfires into jet BRs, Zeroes and other Japanese planes up higher, etc.).
But hey, one German player shot at a Churchill and didn’t insta-elim it, so that means the Churchill is OP and needs to be 3.7!
