Would you support it if it was more like this?
Granted, it should deafen you from battle sounds as well.

I would support it less…
Stun effects are annoying af and unfun lmao.
If they want to piss off the community, sure. I don’t think they will though. Not every vote needs to be an overwhelming majority of something and we rarely saw the results of votes in the past. Respect the results as they stand and maybe try again in the future. People were clearly pissed off with the Abram’s armor stance and that didn’t persuade Gaijin to do anything.
How could you know? It can mean any injury.
Thing is i think you could heal it to completely healthy from what they wrote, as it says it wont apply any loading time or other modifiers.
When HP goes from full to not full.
Which requires over-pressure or direct/spall hit.
Can we like…
Realize that realism doesnt have to be perfect? The focus should be on the viecle stats themselves for realism, (To a limit, imo there should be wiggle room, I have stated this before), but trying to make gameplay fully realistic only ends up in a mess.
The focus for gameplay should be on enjoyment, not completely on realism. The extreme focus on realism imo should be reserved for sim, not RB.
I want to actually enjoy gameplay, not be stuck repairing my tracks for an hour or something lmao
I would prefer to see this mechanic gated behind either returning to spawn for a rearm point or rearm on capture point.
I have been thinking about it and yeah, I think it’s best for healing to be limited to the zone points, just like ammo/crew replenishment.
Otherwise, we could find situations of people camping and hiding behind broken spots every time their crew were wounded and never getting out of there.
Besides, this would be further incentive to play the objective and would give more value to the caps!
Minus arcade, of course.
(In AB crew replenishment can happen anywhere, so crew healing should be the same.)
heavy tank meta, heavy tank meta
Very much same. We also didn’t see Gaijin clarify if the new module modeling will result in an increase in repair costs. Or if it’ll lead to long repair times. If either of those are a yes, then option 1 should be a hard no. I can 100% see Gaijin using that option to do both and like with many shadow nerfs, they don’t have to say anything. People just voted for that.
Slowly but surely, they’re getting their pound of flesh for the review bombing.
Dies in sweden.
Please no more repair cost increases ffs…
Dies in playing without premium lmao.
I am not completely opposed to more detailed models, but if it comes at those costs I agree with you.
Clearly they should go the other way and have us all run around in default blender cubes shooting blocks /s
I mean, I would just get rid of repair costs but small battles I guess. But that’s proof that Gaijin didn’t explain these mechanics and changes well enough at all.
And I don’t know how anyone plays this game without premium time. Though, ever since they changed/lessened the value of it; it’s not like it helps that much.
And I don’t know how anyone plays this game without premium time.
Honestly the only way I get through it is I am fairly decent at arcade, and have a couple premiums I can use when I really need SL. The grind without premium is ABYSMAL, however. I would unironically be in favor of gaijn just doubling all RP and SL gains, its that bad.
From OP (emphasis mine):
Watch Crew Healing be a tier IV module you need to research in order to do.
Like it goes: Repair Parts > FPE > Crew Replacement > Crew Healing.
Sure, but sometimes it makes sense.
In AB you can already use destroyed modules of the tank.
Having a hospital inside the tank isn’t far Off.
aB and RB are shooters so these mechanics wouldn’t go against the genre of the game.
RB players
SB however should be a sim.
Well… Gaijin already ruined that for tanks but there is no reason to make it worse.
In AB you can already use destroyed modules of the tank.
More importantly, crew replenishment doesnt require being on a cap in AB.
I forgot that exists… tanks are such a mess in war thunder, it’s just sad.
-They replenish their crew in the combat zone instead of back at their base/spawn (which at least would be somewhat acceptable).
-they have spare engines, gin barrels, gun breaches just lying around in the tank and can repair them in seconds without having to return to a base.
-Now they get a hospital as well.
And mind you these things are true in a mode that is supposed to be a simulation. With the shooter modes you can at least argue that it’s just a shooter.
God i hate what gaijin did with tanks… So much wasted potential it’s not even funny.
I don’t see where this assumption is coming from, as the physical model doesn’t equate to how expensive the tank is to repair, at least not to my knowledge. Repair times likely won’t be “longer”, it will likely be based on how critical the component is. The hydraulics for the turret drive will probably take as long as repairing a turret ring.
It will be unhealthy to speculate negatives without having more solid information to work with. We only have a proposal.
