So when are we getting the ability to change what units the rangefinder works in?

This is an excellent idea, looking forward to it.

The one additional customizable element that would be nice to have the option to add would be the currently loaded ammo type (HEAT, APDSFS, etc.) Currently because the bottom bar only shows what you’re going to load next you have to remember sometimes what round you loaded last. Would be nice to have that as something as a sight element as a lot of current FCS sights do that now to act as a visible reminder.

I have to say, I really like the way you handle the roadmap. I really hope this become a yearly thing to share proposed mechanics ahead of time in the form of a Roadmap.
For tank sights, I am a big fan of the proposed changes. I would also like to see some more customisation elements in futur updates, like the type of round chosen, or different sights for different sights for different zoom levels (to help with parallax aiming in SB)

This is outstanding work!! . . . very much appreciated! . . and I about lost it when I saw “Moveable MODULES!!” . . . praise the Almighty Snailio! As mentioned, this is the QoL(I don’t use that term, but everyone else does, so . . ) improvement many could not have imagined . . . now, just one more thing . . . please make the modules on the HUD in game where we can resize and place them where we want as well . . . . please, please oh pretty please . . …

How is this news? Don’t get me wrong its a good change but these are just some minor improvements to the custom sights I’ve been using for years, although its nice that you are making them easier for players to get, you are WAYYYY over hyping this…
Although it’s nice nice for people to have an actual SPAA sight available it should have been implemented YEARS ago, also the one you show is missing most of the grid… they should have 1 to 2 spider webs in each quarter

This is simply amazing!

Can we expect the same in Naval battles? It would be great if we could just move/change the entire UI in Naval the way we want (including customizable radar and FCS interface, enemy ship damage status, your ship status, etc.).

It’s WAY more than that.

Until now, the only option for most of us was to doenload and apply sights made by others already, because it is difficult to understand how to make them. I still don’t even know how they are done, lmao.

With this, Gaijin provides us with an easy, intuitive, simple and comprehensive way to finally do it ourselves.

And, most of all… finally, reload timer!
