Did gaijin just nerfed the FlaRakRad mobility? Before todays update the FlaRakRad had max of 101km/h top speed and 36km/h reverse speed, but recently it got changed to 90, and 6.9km/h. Is this a real thing or gaijin just messed something up?
As hilarious as it was watching a truck that is used worldwide in some of the roughest terrain imaginable struggle on 5° slopes in game im happy to see it finally improve in game (traction fixes when?) hopefully finally the horror quest to find a way to not be immediately found in spawn on 2 km² maps in that huge armorless chonker has an end
with that i mean the uphill performance obviously which hopefully massively improved. for max speed you will never reach 100 kph anyhow in warthunder and even if-why? 7kph in reverse seems a bit slow tho
XD not like you’re gonna get going 100 (K/H I assume) in a match anyway.
While it is subtle, the higher RPM’s are better for covering hilly and off road terrain.
My 4Runner can casually gain speed up a hill with a 37-ish degree angle sub 2k RPM. Don’t understand how a massive diesel engine in that thing has a max of 2.3k.
We had this MAN truck in our ammunition supply division and I drove several times with it. Slopes, mud, rough terrain, dirt roads … the crazy dirt track test parcour we had near our base. These trucks went trough everything and climbed the “steepest hilltops”. On the highway 100 km/h was no issue. But I guess Gaijin always knows better. Ingame it barely moves. And failes to climb the slightest slope.
It’s a massive buff in terms of acceleration and power.
Before it only had 4 gears and since those transmissions aren’t properly modeled in game it struggled even with slight inclines
Wow, a funny guy. Nice this VT-1 stock feature, especially when you have spaded the FlaRakRad years ago!
My good upbringing forbids me from making any further comments.
