Shouldn´t flamethrowers do damage on armored vehicles? A bottle of burning liquid could seriously harm a tank. I´d say an actual flamethrower should be able to inflict massive damage on every vehicle.
Absolutely, make it do same damage as plasma caster so the steel tank melta down to puddle after single hit. Obviously thats how flames are supposed to work against fully enclosed vehicles. /s
Well, pour some sticky burning liquid on the engine of your car. Wait and see.
Because as we know, cars are manufactured with idea that they will regularly get their engine bays doused with napalm.
Obviously you can try with a tanks engine too, if you got one.
If any of that hits a radiator or open vent your engine is cooking itself. Is it xenomorph blood? No, but it’s not exactly fun stuff to come into contact with. At least for early pre-cold war vehicles. Heck, if it gets in your barrel that is so not good for the shell and crew.
molotovs were famously effective weapons against the tops of engines during the winter war and itd be nice if flamethrowers did something similar but idk if gaijin could really model that without a big armour overhaul so its kinda just a sad loss that only affects like 3 vehicles so probably will be reasonably ignored
