Not only is it a PoS, but its not even a unique, domestic system and certainly isn’t a good enough SPAA to be a Pantsir equivalent in BR, all the while the actual Pantsir equivalents (FK-1000 and 2000) are nowhere to be seen.

Yes! At MINIMUM they should have gotten the HQ-17A. Sure it is essentially a clone of the Tor, but it is at least domestic and swaps the tracks for wheels. The upgraded FM-2000 and HQ-11/FM-3000 could easily come after.

I personally think that changing it to the HQ-17 is more likely to be achievable because bvvd wouldn’t need to add new models, only modify the radar model and other details based on the Tor-M1. It’s not that troublesome, and no one has submitted the HQ-17 air defense system yet. Of course, I support any new SPAA. Adding the Tor-M1 to the Chinese tech tree isn’t that reasonable; it should belong to the Russian Federation tech tree.

You can check for yourself, indeed no one has submitted the HQ-17 to the developers. If someone had submitted it, why doesn’t it appear in this list?

this is suitable for China top SPAA
Now that we’ve seen how terrible the CS/SA5 is for top tier China, we need this SPAA to balance it out. It is not fair that only select nations can get good SPAAs. That is not balance. All nations including China should be a good SPAA system to compete in the top tier environment. I hope that the devs can seriously consider the addition of this SPAA to Chinese top tier.
