Fix your sound

What a joke, enemy tanks going full speed with no sound flanking.
I don’t know what genius thought of this new 215m line of sight mechanic, but it’s literally absurd.

Will sounds be reverted to how it was? Probably not because Gaijin gets off on watching their player-base squirm and get upset/angry.
Truly a detriment to the overall gameplay.

Enjoy your vacations and bills paid at the expense of loyal fans/players shoveling money down greedy throats.

And that is why you’re a detriment to your teams.

Detriment is like a brand of toothpaste, right?

Correct

Still cant hear anything smart being said

So - I have figured that for most of these complaints -

  1. Sound settings - 7.1 surround sound is not possible with headphones and do not use it.
  2. Volume control - The sound engine changes how it behaves below 30 volume and above 50 volume. Set your master volume somewhere between 30 and 50.
  3. Headphone / speaker quality - buying something half decent will literally save. No, I am not saying to buy Arctics / Razer / Steelseries, etc. Something half decent will start off with something like the Sennheiser HD280.
  4. Emulation software - As much as bose markets that it can create surround sound on stereo - it does not work. Stop using ANY emulation software.
  5. Now we are at a point where we can blame the game and after following step 1 to 4 you will find a massive change in your game audio.

Level your Keen Vision.

Lastly, the game sound engine is broken and does get overloaded and struggles to discern what audio needs to be played. However, attacking the devs will just get your topic locked and I will strongly suggest adjusting your wording.

My qualification on the matter for those who will ask? I am a sound engineer and it is literally my job to understand sound, make sound happen and to create sound.
