Fix the SKR-7 reload

Dear development team, I kindly ask you to fix the reloading issue on the SKR-7 ship, as the reloading keeps getting stuck after firing a few hundred rounds, the reloading gets stuck. Even though there are 1000 rounds in it, and it is not possible to fire. Please Gaijin. :(

That’s not a reloading issue. You are overheating the gun, and it needs time to cool down. You’ll notice a green circle at the bottom of the screen representing each gun. As you fire, they will start turning red. If you let them become completely red (by continually firing), your gun will jam and need time to become unjammed.

Hes likely talking about the ready rack replenish not overheat.

Exactly. I always pay attention to the weapon’s overheating, so the cannon doesn’t overheat. This way, the problem isn’t that it overheats and misfires, but rather that the reloading gets stuck after a few shots.

Ready rack is common characteristic of all mid to big caliber automatic guns in War thunder naval, not SKR exclusive. Also, it fits real life mechanism

It is not overheating, you just run out of ammo in ready rack.

Not a problem but a iirc historical nerf by the devs last year for the AK-276 systems which effect both Project 159 & this Project 35 along with any other SKR be it frigate or destroyer that next gets added.

Just remember to heh recharge your ready racks ever so often & fire in short bursts over going like crazy like a 3"/70 system (US / GB system).

The ready rack was nerfed some updates ago. This was in response to the ongoing complaining surrounding the SRK family.

Funnily enough, this leads players to rely more on the RBUs that arguably are more potent then the 76mm. RBUs are not restricted in ammo carrying capacity or allowed reloads.

Perhaps that could be looked at as a better balancing mechanism over the 76mm ready racks?

Both, given both are historical.

Is that a change? I remember running out of RBUs on one side after an intensive CQB and I recall seeing the ammo count run down as I used/reloaded rounds. IIRC for each round in a launcher there was one spare reload, so, although there are a lot of rockets you could still run out, especially if only one side could be brought to bear…. Or is this an RB/AB difference?
