T-90M doesn’t use Kontakt 5 thus would would be a misrepresentation.
DM53 was primarily designed to defeat Kontakt 5 + armor.
Relikt didn’t exist yet, and Relikt was designed to protect against DM53 + armor.

I usually hit center mass on an ERA block but was rushed, so I hit my standard position which is still an ERA block below the running bar to avoid hitting driver’s port area.
Either way I avoided the driver’s area and avoided “pixel hunting”.
Especially since overlapping plates incorrectly increase armor protection in War Thunder.

Additionally, i don’t think any of the MBT’s at BR 11.0 gets access to the DM53 either so it’s not even a fair comparison to begin with. Better to go for BR to BR comparisons if you’re going for in-game things.

Anything in that square has less equivalent armor than the rest of the UFP, on average, no pixel hunting.

Since there is weakspots at Leopard 2’s too (280mm NERA part, under the mantlet, between cheeks and chassis etc.)

leopard 2 has that weakspot irl, which was later fixed with 2A5 version or add on composite armor to hide/improve it like on the 2PL or 2A4M
the reason why its a weakspot because of the gunner sight that is in the way, hence they cannot put more armor on that part, the 2A5 fixed it by moving gunner sight to the roof and slightly increase turret spacing

How is having one of the best KE penetrators of top tier “not balanced”?
DM53 and M829A2 are able to unequivocally crush 72B '89s and 80Us without issue. Neither have 1m of penetration.
