Even the older F-15’s such as the F-15A and F-15A Baz used these. Every F-15 Model to date has used the correct pylons. The LAU-128. Please fix this, it looks very unrealistic. Something else also very wrong, which i may as well ask for it, but it would be cool to have the FLIR on the F-15E/I Models ingame, with the addition of it would give the F-15E/I the Forward Looking Infrared. Basically IRST, and help for when the AIM-9X and others are released to the jets, it would help with the IR/IIR spam that will be happening during that timeframe. Anyways here’s a picture of a FLIR on an F-15E.
(And with the FLIR and AN/AAQ-33 the F-15E/I would have one Chaff/Flare pod and it would be right behind the FLIR due to the placement of the FLIR being a little bit more forward than the Sniper TGP)
If it’s missing internal FLIR then that will need to be reported. If that FLIR can be used as an IRST then you will need evidence for that.
If it’s an external FLIR / IRST then those are WIP, meant to come with the F18E/F but to no ones surprise were bugged.
0 guarantee that any existing aircraft except maybe the F18E or Pobit in the US tree will get them. Most likely will be added with new aircraft. Im even on the fence whether the F-15C GE would get them. Instead I could see the F-15EX being added specifically with them.
Again, if you could read, i didnt say TGP. I said FLIR. And i said it would have a different placement than the TGP for the Chaff/Flare Pod being behind the FLIR. Please learn how to read.
Golden Eagle will 100% get it, Block 52 100%, F/A-18E 100%, but the F-15E sort of needs it, this game is just unbalanced and will become more unbalanced because they just dont add the correct armament to the jets
F-15E is currently one of the stronger 14.0s in-game at the moment, Im not sure why you’d want to move it up to 14.7/15.0, especially when it only has M-Scan. You are better off just adding the F-15EX for that.
Same kinda point for the F-15C GE. Its the strongest 14.3 in-game at the moment, probably should be 14.7. Aim-9X guarantees that it goes up to 15.0+. Where the F-15EX would be better suited.
You do realize I’m just pointing out the obvious right and I know the NAV FLIR pod is not deployed in the same hardpoint as the TGP on the F-15E, you are simply reading to much into what I said.
The Golden Eagle is getting 9X when it comes out, why do you think they added it to Rank 9 and gave it AIM-120D-1 ?, yes the 9X could send it to 14.7 but with everything coming that really wouldnt matter, the F-15E at 14.0 kindof needs the 9X because at 14.0 it can get a full uptier to 15.0 later on where it would be one of the worst strikefighters that fight everything under the sun
By this logic, can the Tornado GR4 at 12.3 get 2x ASRAAM and stay at 12.3 because it faces much stronger aircraft in any uptier?
The F-15E being mostly used for carrying ground attack weapons, doesnt mean its not one of the most capable BVR platforms in the game, especially sub 14.3. Excluding the F-15I which is the F-15E but with more CMs, and the Mirage 2K5F/Ei because of the MICAs, the F-15E is stronger than everything else currently at 14.0, and stronger than anything at 13.7 obviously.
Then what about 13.0, should they get amrams? That’s not a good excuse to give it 9X whilst staying at 14.0. Because it’s not the F15 that’s the problem, it’s the BR compression.
