So the American and Swiss F18s can carry 8 LJDAM ER while the Finnish one can only carry 4. Also the Finnish F18C MLU 2 should have the APG79 since that is the radar it got irl. It really doesnt make sense since the LJDAM couldv’e been great to get sweden more on par with other nations cas capabilites. Your post just proved zero double standards. C-7s are on no aircraft currently. AIM-9X is on no aircraft.
Also prove that all F-18s in the world never used AIM-9Ls and 9Ms.
The Finnish air force didn’t produce F-18s so they are not a source for what they can’t carry. I don’t get why people want to nerf Finnish aircraft so hard.

There’s already precedent in the same tree on Air-to-air missiles, I’d not expect IIR missile or c-7 until the other tree also get it. (Swede also never use aim-9m, they use aim-9l and skip straight to iris-t)

^You must have a hard time reading. AIM-9X isnt on any aircraft in game… SPAA isnt an aircraft…
I dont have any info on the radar, i might but id need to check, currently the only thing missing is missiles and CAS yet to be added to warthunder alongside Sniper AT therm pod but as stated by Smin only the F-2 was to get it this patch. Now for the reason the Finnish hornet can only carry 4 JDAM is for the same reason the KWS can only carry 1 AGM per pylon. @Jεcka and i know many others have tried asking gaijin for balance to change this but the triple mount pylon for them was denied because there is no evidence of German KWS’s using that mount for their AGM’s.
@Smin1080p_WT would you be able to answer this if you could, its a bit better to have proper confirmation than back and fourth ranting considering this aircraft was promised with CAS but lacks CAS to surpass a 12.0 aircraft on sweden or even a 10.3
Now i will say GBU-38 uses the same mount for the GBU-54B so it does have the dual mounts for the 38 with a handful of images irl of them but i haven’t seen any Finnish hornets when equipped with the 54B, now it could also be for Balance. Again gaijin wanted the Finnish hornet to be unique and giving it their historical BOL pods unlike all other nations hornets in game has its trade offs, such as historical CAS loadouts as a penalty. Again this is speculation and until Smin answers im unable to really say.

So far while checking for the BRU-55 i have one document mentioning them but i have no images of a confirmed BRU-55 mount, i believe i have seen them but its more than likely a balancing factor. @AlvisWisla your claim for the F-18C is slightly wrong, while Finland did buy many Hornets from the US such as HN 404 and HN 461
Many Hornets were produced in Finland with A2G removed already when created. Under the MLU 1 modification all US hornets were given the Titanium Keel replacement like all domestically built Hornets.
Now this shouldn’t exclude their ability to hold munitions and does mean BRU-55 is compatible but as i stated above its more than likely a balancing factor for limiting the Finnish Hornet to 11.7 CAS capabilities.
11.7 would be L-GBUs only.
GPS guided munitions are the current safest method of CAS for top BR due to new SPAA.
Tbf as per gaijins own words the F-18C non MLU is to advanced for anything less than 12.0 ground but i digress, just a compression problem and the F-18C will stay the same BR as vehicles like the Rafale for some time to come if i had to guess.
I’m fine If they give it the 8 laser jdam er and 6-8 harms when that comes since that would make it better then the gripen until they add arg brimstones. It would still be viable after new brimstone.
