I was very happy that I got that guy since I really do not like the F-20A(ss) Tigershit. And I am very bad with guns. Then I see my rewards after the match and cannot help but feel scammed. My effort is literally dismissed entirely. And my Grind remained just a bit longer. I feel like this should give points since I accomplished something. Just like Evading missiles, which apparently according to the new notification I am doing A LOT.
Check all your score entries. You’re looking at “DESTRUCTION.” Most of the reward for planes appears under “SEVERE DAMAGE.”
Destroying all engines, cutting off half+ the wing, destroying horizontal stabilizer, destroying flight control surfaces credits you with 80% of the reward for killing the plane before they crash (including if they land and survive!)
Cutting off the tail/killing the pilot after this gives you the remaining 20%. Them crashing also gives you the 20%.
If you cut the tail off/kill the pilot of a plane an ally damaged, they’re denied the last 20% and you’re given 40% of the reward instead.
If you deal critical damage and someone inflicts severe and the enemy crashes, you get an assist. If you attack a severely damaged plane and crit them, you get an assist.
Thus, take a look at “Severe damage to the enemy” tab and you should see the 80% of the reward you’re looking for.
