There’s literally a weekly update dedicated to bug fixes.
Cool, want to know how many bugs there are in the game that don’t get attention for literal years?
“They don’t fix bugs” and “There are bugs which are unfixed” do not mean the same thing, I’m not sure how much more straightforward that can be.
Again, that’s not what you opened this exchange with. You claimed they “don’t fix actual bugs” unless related to progression.
Let me rephrase it so you can… understand. They pay EXTRA attention to progression bugs and pay ALMOST NO ATTENTION to anything else.
No they don’t. Besides that you so far haven’t listed any of these so called “ years long bugs”.
How about the fact sim as an entire gamemode has been broken in about a dozen ways regarding AI, spawning, objectives, tickets, etc for years?
Bugs/issues which potentially affect things tied to monetization will always get quick attention when possible, it’s essential. This applies to any game ever, heck, anything in life, video games or otherwise.
Also, no, getting literally multiple bug patches per week is not “almost no attention”. Most games would love to have this kind of update frequency.
To say nothing of back in the day when most games got a patch every season, as in like four-ish per year. Games in general do much better than this these days, but WT is still extremely frequent and consistent compared to the average.
