To give Stalingrad an updated look, we focused on reworking every element of the map’s environment from scratch — from the remains of metal structures and lampposts, to the factory buildings and railway platforms.

The visual rework in this map has been done greatly, no one can deny the artistic work behind this map. However the soul is the same, which I’m afraid the same problems the current Stalingrad map has, the newer Stalingrad map will inherit. My main suggestion is expanding further than the city’s buildings, perhaps torwards Volga river or even Volgograd regions by plains and steppes that could server for not only ground battles but assault mode and helicopter PvE.
This is a short example of the geography around this area shown that it wasn’t exactly plains, there were hills here and there, and considering that Stalingrad map is a low tier-exclusive map, I don’t think this will hurt any balance and current War Thunder’s map doctrine of fewer sniping spots and longer range engagements, which is my main criticism regarding this problem: in War Thunder tanks seems more like kickboxers than cannon on wheels capable of using its power to engage targets at long distances.
To conclude: There are a lot of areas in this map and the region represented in-game that are scrapped behind to focus on a urban-based map, whereas infantry was the most present force and tanks wasn’t used in larger numbers, specially in the city center which according to sources; Stalingrad had the presence of about 1,500 tanks when compared to Kursk around the 8,000, the difference is clear and I think War Thunder is trying to portrait an fictitious scenario in this map.
it’s good and look fresh but please improve rendering it’s really bad building appear and disappear and the pc i got is new even at high setting rendering for building and other stuff is bad !
this map should be for 1.0 to 7.7 Br would be perfect
