[Feedback] Sinai - Ground Battles Map

In the missions on this location, we’ve carried out a major graphical update to the environment. The color shades of sand and rocks have changed, small stones on passages will no longer obstruct the movement of armored vehicles, and the sand dunes look more natural.

The look of the roads has changed both for the sandy part and for the cluster of rocks. A small amount of architecture has changed, with some houses in the villages replaced with more authentic white-walled ones. A railway and telegraph line have been added between the main combat areas and the water channel. Vegetation, rock formations and landforms have been added to the combat area and outside of it in the desert.

New Hidey hole near C for Wiesel and L3? or somewhere to quickly dive to cover?

Spawn certainly seems a lot more busy


Actual railroad lines? is there a chance this map gets a train like american desert and Flanders?


A little bit more near A would be appreciated, would much help the gameplay on this side of the map rather than it being a 2km snipefest
Could really do with some extra texture on the dunes, they are difficult to see until you’re relatively close
and is it just me or does A side feel like it’s gotten flatter?

Actual terrain outside the map? does this affect the Air map?

True shame this area remains out of bounds, had some of the, and with the offending Dunes for shooting at spawns now removed it would provide a nice position to counterattack C and B, and add more depth to the map,

The Northern A side spawn cannot be seen from the current positions that can be obtained up there, while Southern A side spawn would only need slight adjustments to pre-existing rocks to be fully obscured


while any position that can be obtained by the right hand spawns on that hill are either highly exposed, or able to be mostly obscured/denied with a strategically placed rock or building (the less visually impacting way)

Looks much better, but as for me there are two problems on “Sinai sands” that has not been mentioned in other reviews.
The first problem is railway crossings, they are too weak and can be crashed even with light vehicle, moreover, they can dramatically slow down light vehicles. I would recommend to change them/turn off collisions/rid off them.


The second problem is more visual and subjective. Railroad switches are much more not detailed as they are on the “Abandoned factory” map.

I would rate this rework 8/10 (9.5/10 with the issues being fixed).
