thats just not true at all
it falls off the sky before it even passes 20 km

Gaijin’s left brain: Yes, yes, yes, we need to weaken the Su-30 MKK!
Gaijin’s right brain: No, no, no, we need money!
Gaijin’s left brain: Yes, yes, yes, we need to respond to the players’ demands!
Gaijin’s right brain: No, no, no, we need money!
Gaijin’s brain: Okay! Let’s kill the PL-12!

center-of-gravity to stabilizer distance at least0.25,otherwise,it is not enough to reflect his advantage at close range.oirginally this missile is famous forits balance,if it is only changed to 0.22, it will be meaningless.what do you think

I’d like to see it revert to 0.3, with a bottom line of 0.175, which is the level for other missiles. But sadly, we have no control over how to fill in the numbers.

the change of 0.3 is the best , i also hope to change it.but what needs to be corrected is that 0.175 is unacceptable

This is widely acknowledged, yet I wonder if there’s any real point in us discussing it here. I’ve already half given up hope:(

That’s actually horrible

This is useful—without our continued feedback on the forum, the 96B’s laser warning system wouldn’t have been restored, and the increased range for the PL-12A wouldn’t exist. We should believe that we can put pressure on Gaijin. If Gaijin makes the experience unpleasant for us, we shouldn’t let them be too comfortable either.

got it.

This change makes me so happy! Now just nerf the MICA, the R-77s, and the Derby, and we’ll be good. Make believe AMRAAM performance for everyone!

It’s been working so well with the AMRAAM situation.

thats right

The same fate awaits all missiles in the game. In my opinion, the point isn’t for players to kill each other with their eyes at first contact. The point is to continue this hopeless dance, flying, maneuvering, and launching missilss that won’t cause harm. This way, you’ll spend the next minutes, hours, days in the game… a never-ending grind elevated to a higher level, to a level where it won’t be possible to precisely determine which specific parameter is malfunctioning. Players will split into smaller groups: AIM120 fans, PL12 enthusiasts, R77 defenders, MICA users, etc., etc., none of these groups will be able to find common ground to change this game for the better TOGETHER.

they just can’t fix a missile without breaking an other aspect of it, can they…

Last point is very true.

On here its not exactly common, but on more mainstream spaces like reddot or youtube? Yeah

The balance changes to the PL-12 and PL-12A this time are utterly baffling. When the PL-12A was just updated before, the devs refused to give it a thrust boost no matter what. Now they’ve nerfed the PL-12 across the board, only to buff the PL-12A a little afterward to pretend the dev team is being lenient—it’s downright ridiculous. Do the developers even play their own game? This missile was already fairly mediocre, and now it’s been gutted like this. What future does this game even have left?

The PL-12 isn’t exactly dead. Its still much more maneuverable than the AMRAAM and if people consider the AMRAAM viable then the PL-12 is already above viable.
