PL-12A did receive some range buffs but I do not know for sure how much it was improved
Either way the missile was turbo nuked in the main aspect that matters for a Fox-3
oh if you mean compared to the PL-12 i guess you could say they are clipped but thats how they just always were, cant really call em clipped if they always were that size

If that’s the case, isn’t it likely that Gaijin will make the PL-15 have reduced maneuverability compared to PL-12 like AIM-120C to AIM-120A?

there was a post by AVIC (the maufacturer) which stated 40G for PL-15E (which gajin is gonna model off most likely) that was delted, but yeah most likely, this basically chopped chinas top tier future, as i expect gajin to also not make the PL-15´s motor any decent on top

not much but its worse than the regular pl12 now because its so heavy
only if it can HIT the target

by a whole 0.2-0.6 secs (0.2 is the highest difference i saw on statshark but accounting for its errors lets say up to 0.6), the farther you go out the less the difference

Yeah consider me corrected, I didn’t realize how strong the PL-12 actually was in the past prior to the new change. Even at higher altitude like 35-40km, PL-12 still is stronger than the AIM-120A (in terms of time to target).

its more of a fact that having all the hundreds of clips that people would try demand because they cant be bothered to learn game features and tactics that have been effective for over a year and a half
this has been a thing for an extremely long time and brought up many times here on the forums, it isnt my fault that you lack the game knowledge of which missiles are and are not rollable
amraams being rollable is just an accepted fact among people who have bothered to test it

None of the Pl-12 carriers, especially J-10A/C has such bad speed/altitude performance that you will never reach an equal footing with the 120 carriers for launch energy, even if Pl-12 is (was?) better on paper
