Feedback on PL-12 series missile balance changes in update

120c-5 and d look ok when I checked spreadsheet, hopefully it shouldn’t matter too much since mica em with less TNTe still performs sufficiently.

Yeah thanks! Lol. I got tired

Oh, let me correct my previous understanding—I found the term “八八式爆药” on IGN’s naval mines. So it’s not a translation issue; instead, Gaijin seems to have directly reused it and applied it to the HJ-9. It’s really baffling.
A possible reason is that Gaijin simply did not distinguish that the translation of “Type 88” differs between Chinese and Japanese usage, and assumed it referred to the year 1988, i.e., the year when the development of the HJ-9 began, and then used it directly.
After all, Gaijin has made similar amusing mistakes before—for example, directly classifying the F-8E and F-8F into the same category.

I heard that the pxbn-4 explosives of pl12/a had changed to DHL-1, which had the same TNT explosives equivalent to type 88

The impact of these changes on the missile’s power was not significant in the first place

The 38G missile only pulls 23G (by that logic the amraam should pull even less, wich we know is not true ingame and even more so irl)

Don’t give Gaijin ideas lol

wdym nerfing the 120? lol

Yeah 😂

Obviously since the PL-12 is now better than the PL-15 but still bad they have to nerf the AIM-120s

is the pl12 better yet or does it still suck

still suck

I own both of them and have played a large number of matches with each, but that is completely incorrect. The J-10C is significantly stronger than the Eurofighter (14.3).
