Fatal crash - Oodle read error

I tend to get this crash pretty often lately. It occurs mainly when I play Naval battles and feels totally random. Sometime it can happen multiple times in a single match, then it doesn’t come for dozens of matches.

It starts with Error 81110007, then i get this Fatal Error: Oodle read error -1
WT load error

I saw similar reports and tried to troubleshot it acording to availible info by removing cache, checking if i had enough memory etc… Nothing seem to help.

Would be grateful is somebody could help me solve it.

My hardware: 10600k, 16gb ram and 3060ti. I still use Windows 10.

Oodle errors are usually caused by CPU instability as it it usually know as a fairly stable piece of software otherwise. See here:

Even though you have a older Intel CPU compared to what was mainly affected it could point towards CPU instability.

Do you have your CPU overclocked at all? Have you tried any stress tests to make sure your hardware is stable?

I have it overclocked, but I’ve used that CPU with War Thunder together for over 3 years. I had game crashes before but they happened rarely, maybe once per month. Lately they occur atleast every second day, sometimes multiple times each day.

Ps: Not sure if that matter regarding OC, but my CPU rarely goes over 60 c when i play WT, atleast acording to MSI afterburner.

Right, Well just because it has been stable doesn’t always mean it will stay stable at the same settings forever. CPUs can degrade over time when overclocked.

Could you please remove the overclock and see if the crashing stops? That will at least tell you if it is your CPU or not.
