we have what i know 2 officialy as anti ship labled missles, i think some of the agm can be used against ships too, but since the AS34 kormoran missles ,as they are right now, lock onto empty water, make no damage or miss the ship at all, well …

Is Kuban and Berlin map larger or is just a 1:1 remake with no sizes changes?

And large maps are pointless with only one spawn per team, where everyone just ends up in the middle anyways. We need larger maps with more spawn locations!

Yeah, that is imo, the biggest issue with ARH gameplay, and why it feels (imo) a lot better in ASB.

Matches are narrow. even on a large map

Ships as a targets to destroy like bases will be hella cool but if its just ai that will give u 15rp it wont be worth the armmament

With thos kind of map we would need better ata missiles and ofc air spawn

i think that the gameplay loop changes with the brs, in low tier i personaly hate the time it takes until engagments happen, on the other hand top tier is too fast as it is right now.

but lets be realistic the game never was able to represent the actual dynamic of an air battle, nighter in low br nor in the higher br.

since airfields/carriers in reality are mostly that far away from each other, that time to engagment are mostly above 30 minutes, but since players are not patient enough gaijin has to make it a more direct engagment, which is supported by the amount of resorcess bigger maps need, and it was stated several times that raising the minimum requirements is not a favored option

Yeah, Absolutely. I dont play a lot of props these days. But just sticking with the higher ranks. 128km x 128km maps are fine up until about 12.0/12.3? I find them maybe a little too small in aircraft like the Tornado F3 and would quite enjoy more space/challenge in the Tornado Gr4 but its “fine”

13.0-13.0+? Probably needs 180km maps I think. A little more breathing room for ARH, but doesnt need a massive increase.

14.0 though needs the full 256km.

Its a shame that 1.0 and 14.0 have the same game design

Please please please let us play this map in Air sim EC! It sounds like the perfect map for a good mix of carrier action while still giving us ground bases to land at!

I want to fly my propeller planes on this map with carrier/ground take off, yes.

F4U-4 Corsair time! Hellcat time! Zero time!

Finally carrier capability would matter without having to play Denmark (which sucks for north/south team asymmetry at props).

well

  1. its realistic, in real live even an intercept scramble is around a 20 minutes till intercept point
  2. that would lead to much more possiblity in placement then intant meeting the oposit force, i see it in low/mid br where planes come from different angles and pathes, because they have the time to decide and spread out
  3. in air battles you also earn rp by beeing alive, which in right now air rb is nearly inexistent due to the quick engagment

More spawn locations and also more spawns are needed for ARB to not be one brief furball and then chasing down the last survivors. Let us use backups in ARB Gaijin!
