Fair Play: November 2024

So how do you handle when you accidentally team kill someone and get banned for it then?
Even though you apologized and explained why it happened and was forgiven in marches

Like idk

Simulator battles???

Cause I just got banned
That’s the only time I team killed

I’m telling the other squads to a month long hiatus from this game

They are reporting the same incidents that we are going through

well i hope those temp bans are at the very least severe enough to disincentivize further TKs.

Yeah I just got unjustly banned

Are you going to undo it? No

You guys don’t do anything

I tk’d in a simulator battle

I apologized to the 2 that I accidentally killed

No friendly markers and it was pure instinct that I killed them

Not my fault

I didn’t intentionally kill that player

I’m going to make sure to message the other squads about this and try to get as many people away from this game for a week

you should have identified if they were allies before killing them.

Yet they still won’t take action against Troll Squads. Hmm.

What do you mean by unjustly? You just said you TK two players in one battle.

please an admin take care of me because I think I was wrongly banned. I threw missiles at my teammates in a couple of matches just because I thought it didn’t count in the stats when the match was over, I don’t think this is a reason for a ban @Stona_WT

Not that simple when you’re literally in the midst of a fight and looking through thermals

I react quick

So therefore me and others aren’t always going to have the time to identify before firing. You only get a set amount of spawn points

It’s killed or be killed

Accidentally doing it and apologizing for a very understandable mistake in sim battles is different from team killing in air rb match

Did you just decided to break even more rules with this comment?

You were banned for TK.
Please re read what you have typed and check game rules again.

Do you even play this game?

Have you ever been in top tier sim and either being across the map looking through thermals or being in the middle of the city or out in the open?

Mistakes happen

I still apologized to the teammates

It was never intentional and you can go back through the footage and see the battles where I accidentally killed them

ok but I’ve only done it a couple of times and I’ve only done it after the match is over and I’ve never seen the stats of the game change after the match is over and everybody does it and we do it not in normal games but in squadron matches to joke between friends. @Stona_WT

Mate, please re-read what you are typing. From one side, you are saying it was unjustified and in next post you are saying you have no time to identify if it’s friendly or foe (so your TK are more or less intentional/calculated risk).

More than you.

You don’t have time to identify

It’s top tier sim

If it was justified I wouldn’t be disputing this

The other ban I got was a chat ban and I’ve been clean for awhile now

This team kill ban isn’t justified and I’ve got several others in my own squadron reporting the same thing

Where they had someone targeting them in the match and were forced to retaliate

Texas was one of them, where a couple from a rival squad targeted him in an AIR RB match and was forced to retaliate

Me not having time to identify in a quick setting for ground simulator battles, and then me not being able to identify a teammate. Both were mistakes, but not intentional

So what happens when I shoot missile and it hits my teammate and I have it locked on enemy? do I get perma banned? like we all know this game HAS that problem?
@Stona_WT

Then you would understand how top tier simulator battles are

And can see how someone could make a tiny mistake and it lead to an accidental team kill

I’ve noticed that some players are getting banned again for actions like team-killing even if they haven’t repeated the behavior since their last ban. It’s confusing because if we’ve already been warned and have made efforts to avoid similar actions, it’s unclear why another ban would be applied. Does anyone know if War Thunder’s system tracks team-killing incidents over a long period, even if they aren’t recent?

I’m curious if the system has specific criteria for issuing these follow-up bans, like accumulated reports or accidental team kills, and if there’s a way to appeal when players believe they’ve been wrongly penalized. Any insights would be appreciated, as it seems like an area where clearer guidance would help prevent these issues
