So how do you handle when you accidentally team kill someone and get banned for it then?
Even though you apologized and explained why it happened and was forgiven in marches
Like idk
Simulator battles???
Cause I just got banned
That’s the only time I team killed
please an admin take care of me because I think I was wrongly banned. I threw missiles at my teammates in a couple of matches just because I thought it didn’t count in the stats when the match was over, I don’t think this is a reason for a ban @Stona_WT
ok but I’ve only done it a couple of times and I’ve only done it after the match is over and I’ve never seen the stats of the game change after the match is over and everybody does it and we do it not in normal games but in squadron matches to joke between friends. @Stona_WT
Mate, please re-read what you are typing. From one side, you are saying it was unjustified and in next post you are saying you have no time to identify if it’s friendly or foe (so your TK are more or less intentional/calculated risk).
The other ban I got was a chat ban and I’ve been clean for awhile now
This team kill ban isn’t justified and I’ve got several others in my own squadron reporting the same thing
Where they had someone targeting them in the match and were forced to retaliate
Texas was one of them, where a couple from a rival squad targeted him in an AIR RB match and was forced to retaliate
Me not having time to identify in a quick setting for ground simulator battles, and then me not being able to identify a teammate. Both were mistakes, but not intentional
So what happens when I shoot missile and it hits my teammate and I have it locked on enemy? do I get perma banned? like we all know this game HAS that problem? @Stona_WT
I’ve noticed that some players are getting banned again for actions like team-killing even if they haven’t repeated the behavior since their last ban. It’s confusing because if we’ve already been warned and have made efforts to avoid similar actions, it’s unclear why another ban would be applied. Does anyone know if War Thunder’s system tracks team-killing incidents over a long period, even if they aren’t recent?
I’m curious if the system has specific criteria for issuing these follow-up bans, like accumulated reports or accidental team kills, and if there’s a way to appeal when players believe they’ve been wrongly penalized. Any insights would be appreciated, as it seems like an area where clearer guidance would help prevent these issues
