For the performance, AIM-9Ds are not bad to have.
You stated that the number of missile matters in balancing the game.
And yet, aircrafts of 10.3, such as MiG-21MF/SMT, Mirage 3’s are better than F8U-2 flight perming wise.

It’s not the best there is, but i agree It’s able to turn more than some later models.
Compared to the Yak38 its way better maneuvering

Newbie MiG19 players always make mistakes
at 10.0 you get:
F4c (aim-9E)
A-10a(early)(aim-9L)
F-5c (aim-9E)
putting the f8u to 10.3 makes no sense considering what it can face at an even higher br

it is stock but once you get new boosters its much better
I noted having 4 moderately effective IR missiles was a nice thing to have.
MIGs sure, Mirage 3? For turning yeah it’s a delta but energy the Crusader wins everytime.

Is your only US jet ever played in AIR RB, a F4D-1 on which you only reach 0.6KD out of 176 games, and 71 Air-Air kill, when everyone last month reached out 2.8KD? (Gonna verify once back home through game)
So my simple question, what is your knowledge of F8’s in within game?

f5c is just the most common f5 at 10.0 but you do see f5e’s as well so your statement is not valid
I’m going to let you imagine which one can be seen at 9.3 where most planes still lack flares and save a select few don’t even have its acceleration.

Ignoring that I don’t fly the US tree at all I use the F4D-1 as CAS in GRB, it has CCIP Rockets at 9.0, fits very nicely with the US 9.0 lineup.

The F8E at 10.3 is normal, the F-8E(FN) should be at 10.0 same as Mirage 5F.
The F8U-2 without the 9C’s is basically unable to withstand a 10.3 BR.
For that vouch, i can rely on the fact that i played F8U-2, F-8E and F8E(FN).
And that each of them are currently fine in there own BR.
