Can someone please explain why I have to grind through 100,000 research points just to get a new engine? I mean, come on, I think they’ve gone just a teeny bit overboard compared to the other nations!

module cost is based on a set amount per tier divided by the amount of modules, because it’s the only tier 4 mod for the F-16A ADF all the RP cost assigned to that tier is stacked on that module

The F-16A ADF used to have fire suspension systems which were iirc either removed or automatically integrated into the aircraft, With the removal of the mod the engine went from 50k to 100k.
This isn’t some sick joke but every rank of every mod tree lines up with a total sum, if there’s one mod it’s a high sum but if there’s four it’s split up, you can compare it to other nations or equipment in the same Rank level, A good comparison is the MiG-21F-13 & J-7II, while both are slightly different in RP for mods the concept is easy to see there.
On the bright side at least the F-16 is useful unlike the pitiful wasp that has to unlock iirc a flak jacket for 89k rp lol.
