I could be very wrong, and I’m sure some of the more knowledgable people about it on the forum will correct me in that case, but afaik a single ALE-47 dispenser can hold either 30 normal sized or 15 large sized countermeasures, and these seem to be pretty modular (so no aircraft seems to be stuck with a set amount).

Indeed. It’s either x30 1x1" M206 / RR-180 series cartridges or x15 MJU-59. There is no 1x2" chaff cartridge in use to my knowledge.

From what I have found the 47 system is completely modular. So any combo should theoretically be possible.
