Should I, (a primarily GRB player), get the F15E, and is it any good anymore?, i see in its payload it doesnt seem like much as its primarily just 6 mavericks, and mavericks… are… questionable?
I dont really feel like getting the superhornet line or anything like that.
Your missing the jdams that can be used with the mavericks and the amount of AMRAAMs that make it better than the f16 and the other f15s only thing that is a learning curve with it is the radar.
Theyre only GNSS tho, it seems pretty unlikely that they’ll be useful much no?
Even without gnss and iog like the ljdams, all you need to do with them is snipe AA and the camping/point taking player. And use the mavericks for moving targets. The f15E is plenty capable of dodging the modern SPAA in game once you launch. And the jdams will wreak havoc on SPAA radar. There are some really good videos from content creators like Hunter who showcase how to best utilize the jdams in GRB
its good but mavericks can only be used top down effectively, otherwise its RNG if they will kill or not

The F-15E is the best fixed-wing cas the US has to offer. However when comparing the F-15E’s cas performance to the top dogs from other nations, it is at best mediocre and at worst, very situational.
The biggest thing that holds the F-15E (along with other US jets backs), is the mavericks, it’s a short to medium range weapon that can easily be dodged or intercepted. The only trick you have is the GBU-39s which can be used to clutter the airspace, however with the PPI, it helps you counter this trick to an extent.
I recommend you grind out Helis. The Ah-64E is the 2nd best heli in the game. You are immune to IR spaa like the IRIST and you get 16 FnF agms (it’s mediocre compared to the LMUR but it has quantity). Unlike the F-15E, it’s not mediocre and can be used in any situation.
