I believe the addition of the AN/AAQ-13 LANTIRN navigation pod would be a great addition to the F15E and F15I Ra’am. The feature of the NavFlir most likely would not be added or not added anytime soon with the lack of night maps but the esthetic of the NavFlir pod is missing. The pod does not take away from countermeasures dispensers and does not add any noticeable weight. It obviously should be allowed to be removed but I think the addition will help finalize the aesthetic of the F15E and F15I Ra’am

I dont want to be that guy but…
What? The post goes stale so I repost it. Not that big of deal.
its not the issue of repost. but, like, the nav pod would currently have no other function than cosmetic. and you want it to be added to two F-15s, calling it a great addition.
why a Pepe frog… just why.
What’s the issue? It adds to the esthetics which I made clear. They would be great additions because it opens up other aircraft to receive functioning NavFlir systems. It’s also a secondary targeting pod so there is less of a blind spot for the laser. It adds to the plane and takes nothing away, what’s the issue?
That’s what war thunder posted this morning. Showing my point that in their art they add both pods for the f15e but neglect to in game.
Yea…. I don’t know either.
I’m a firm believer same as many people that if it adds to the aircraft even in looks and doesn’t take away there’s no reason not to add it. If you want to add it or remove it you should be able just like CFTs.
Funny thing that they already included AAQ-13’s drag…

Did they? I didn’t know that. Thanks for the heads up.
